fifteen weeks.
Im finally feeling very pregnant. Obviously not in the huge belly, waddling, swollen ankle kind of way, but in the- belly is growing fast, extremely irritable, and cranky, crying more times in the last three days than i have in the last three months. Going through half a bottle of tums, and ruling out Mexican food for the rest of my pregnancy...Okay, maybe just until i forget how miserable it makes me feel after... baby name list getting shorter. Laying on my stomach is beginning to feel very uncomfortable, and i really, reallllly, want a prenatal massage- kind of way. And through all of this, my husband is the greatest, and we are happy as clams.

Family friends
Today was a busy day.
We woke up early to drive to an estate sale that promised lots of vintage and fun finds with our dear friend, Keely. It was a fun excursion, despite being mainly creepy and giving off a horrible odor, but it was so much fun to spend time with Adam and Keely never the less.
Adam was in rare form, and gave me girlish giggles for the majority of the morning.
While we were there we did happen to come across a beautiful dresser that was perfect for a changing table for the nursery. It is solid wood, obviously hand made, with gorgeous detailing, and with huge thanks to Keely and her husband, Daniel, it is sitting in the soon to be nursery awaiting a sanding and a cute, shabby chic coat of paint. It is going to be adorable.
We spent the rest of the day with Keely, Daniel, and the kids. They are amazing. Not just their constant out-pour of generosity, their love, support, and hospitality, but they are just incredible people. They are the definition of friends that become family. We have watched their kids grow from day one. We have been there to watch every milestone of their lives so far, and the thought of them potentially moving away, although i would be happy for them, breaks my heart. It is near impossible to imagine not having them a drive across town away.
When I 'just run over for a few minutes' i usually end up staying the rest of the day. Their house is a haven for laughter and comfort.
Phew.
So basically, Keely, Daniel, Zoe, and Finn... Thank you. For everything. We love you guys.

Cravings.
For the most part my cravings have only really been what I could stomach. Tons and tons of fruit... And Popsicles! But I'm finding it easier to eat normally as the queasiness subsides a little more everyday.
I usually hate slushies, but since I've been pregnant I have had at least three dreams about eating them. One dream I even went to the extreme of buying a machine...
For the past few hours my mouth has been watering for EggDrop Soup... I dropped a not so subtle hint to Adam, so we will see what we do for dinner when he gets home in a few minutes.

Nine weeks.
Baby Calvillo is nine weeks and the size of a grape. Mmm... Grapes. Slowly feeling less and less nauseous, but more and more fatigue. Afternoon naps are mandatory, my pants are getting way to tight and the name list is getting longer.
Keep on growing Little Peanut.

Feb. 5th
Pregnant.
Adam was outside when i first took the test. I thought about running out into his arms and yelling 'Were pregnant!' in the yard.
I presume he knew when he walked into the kitchen and saw me standing with a huge smile on my face, but i gave him a confirmation. 'We are pregnant.'
In my head i had imagined this moment so differently. Shrieks of joy, and excitement like the movies, but it was so real and perfect, we were both surprisingly calm, yet still filled with just as much joy and excitement as they over act in the movies.
We kissed a long kiss and held each other close. We exchanged 'I love yous' and looked back at the test.
We highfived. 'Team Calvillo!'
That was it. Our lives changed.
Woah Baby.
